CLLA 2015 NY Fall Conference Recap

NY pic LeslieMeet, Learn and Play with CLLA was the theme for this year’s CLLA Fall Collections-Focused Conference, held November 12th – 14th, at the Sheraton NY Times Square Hotel. Fortunately, I was able to do all three—meet, learn and play–during my first opportunity to attend the NY CLLA conference.

Coming from North Dakota, I was extremely excited to have such a great view of NYC from my room! The Sheraton was a beautiful venue for the education sessions, as well as for networking with law firms and clients. It was a great opportunity for me to be there representing The National List.

Connecting with NL member firms is very important to me. The more I learn about them, the more I can assist our staff in making client introductions. At NL, we pride ourselves in knowing our member firms. Relationships play a vital role in our ability to make successful connections between our member firms and clients.

During the Conference, I was fortunate to have lunch with a few of the professional women of CLLA, specifically Robin Moselle, Britt Rudman, and Kathleen Wall. These three women are just a small sample of the great women that are part of CLLA. I was also happy to be there to see long-time National List member, David Gamache of Gamache Myers, receive the prestigious 2015 Robert E. Caine Leadership Award.

I am looking forward to attending CLLA’s 2016 National Convention in Chicago April 6th – 9th. I hope to continue to foster these great relationships and begin many more. See you there!
