The NASP 2015 Annual Conference will be held Nov. 8 – 11, at the Peppermill Resort in Reno/Tahoe, NV. The National List of Attorneys will be represented by Kacey Rask, VP of Business Development. If you would like personal attorney introductions for local counsel, feel free to reach out to Kacey at the Conference. Or to ensure that you get to meet her, set up an appointment by calling her at 800.227-1675 Ext. 104. Kacey says, My favorite thing about NASP is that it’s non-stop education, and everyone is there to learn. Everyone attends the sessions, and there are always opportunities for networking and meeting new potential clients.” The 2015 conference is aptly titled, “Eureka! Subro Education.”
The conference begins on Sunday with a number of NASP sponsored events: the annual Tennis Tournament, the Golf Classic at LakeRidge Golf Course, a 5K Run around Peppermill Lake, the tour of the Peppermill’s geothermal operations; and Sunday ends with the First-Time Attendee’s Reception, the general reception in the exhibit hall and the Members’ Only Reception in the Capri Ballroom.
There will be Key Note Speakers on both Monday and Tuesday: Magician Mike Super, a finalist on America’s Got Talent, and Michele Stuart, the Ultimate Private Investigator and owner of JAG Investigations, who will reveal how much information is located on the internet and accessible to all.
Educational sessions begin on Monday. This year’s conference offers “Full Sessions” (60 minutes) and “Speed Sessions” (45 minutes) at the end of the day. There will be 63 sessions on 7 different tracks: Auto, Property, Product Liability, General, Management, Workers’ Compensation and Health. Topics range from “Tweeners” to Uber to Medicare updates to tire failures to settlement strategies. Attendees will also hear from six former NASP presidents. To see a full agenda, click here. This year’s exhibit hall is larger than in years past, providing more opportunities to network, meet and greet, forge new business relationships and mingle with other subrogation professionals.
There is still time to register for the conference. However, the reservation block in the Peppermill is closed. Please contact your desired alternate hotel directly regarding availability. If you would like to be included in our NASP Conference Recap, include a comment here or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to hear from you and share your thoughts with other subrogation professionals.
