Make Time to Give Thanks!

Thanksgiving- sm.It’s that time of year, when the leaves turn, the air is crisp and I’m looking forward to the wonderful holiday of Thanksgiving. To many people, that means, first and foremost, a four-day weekend.

In our personal and professional lives, it often appears that we are moving at 100 miles per hour. Because we are in the race of life, there is no finish line. It seemingly goes on forever. And as Forest Gump said, “I just kept running and running.”

I ask, “Why? Why do we keep running?” I’m sure a question like that will stir up all kinds of responses. Some will have a positive twist and some will not. Even though we should give thanks on a daily basis, for some reason, many of us don’t stop running long enough to do it. We wait until that four-day Thanksgiving weekend in November.

Some of the many things I give thanks for are good health, family, and our members and clients here at the National List. Our members and clients have become wonderful friends and strong supporters of our company. For that, we are extremely grateful! Every day, we are very appreciative of you and our excellent working relationship.

Friends, let’s pause together and reflect on all the necessities of life, the gifts, talents and relationships we have acquired, for which we should express gratitude daily, not just on Thanksgiving day.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, from me and from the entire staff at
The National List of Attorneys!

Randy Nicola
Vice President
The National List of Attorneys

PS. For those that know me, I would love to be able to give thanks for longer legs, but the ones I have are getting me through life just fine. Therefore, I give thanks for them!

  1. Thank you, Randy, for your wonderful letter to us all, and your powerful message “remembering to give thanks daily, not just annually”. I couldn’t agree with you more.
